10/1/23 Tropical Winds was selected for JW Pepper's Editor's Choice!

12/17/22 I'm so honored to have my newest piece, Holiday Flourish, be premiered by 3 bands this season! Thank you to Truckee Meadows Community College Band, Carson City High School Band, and the Portland Rose City Wind Symphony for premiering my work!

8/25/22 Carl Fischer will be publishing my newest band work "Dragon Rider" next year. I can't wait to hear the percussion in the middle section played by live instruments!

7/27/22 I was honored to be part of Reno's reNEW music concert. Jennifer Day commissioned "On the Wind," a clarinet solo. It was awesome to hear her perform it on the banks of the Truckee River in Reno, NV.

WOW! I just met with NINE elementary orchestras via zoom! How cool. It was such a pleasure to write a composition just for Parkland School District in Pennsylvania. Thank you for commissioning "All for One"!

I'm starting my journey at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas! I'm pursuing a master's degree in composition. This semester I'm taking Counterpoint, 20th Century Techniques and private composition lessons with Dr. Viet Cuong.

I never anticipated that my pieces would be chosen for JW Pepper's Editor's Choice! Both of my pieces this year made the list!

I'm so excited that my first two pieces with major publishers are up for sale, as of spring 2021. "Monsters Unite!" has been published by Alfred Music, and "The Ankh of Eternity" has been published by Carl Fischer Music!

My newest piece "The Adventures of Daring Dog" has been accepted for publication in 2022! I really love this piece - it's about a cartoon dog that thinks he's a superhero. It's written as a Grade 3, so it's meant to be played by older kids, (13+) but could be played for children's audiences. I love cartoons, and I just like the idea of fun band music, even for adults. :)
